System and Application Software at Cineca
One very important goal of Cineca is supporting scientific and technological research with computational tools.
To this goal we make available the most modern and effective System Software and programming environments.
On all our HPC Systems you will find high performance tools for the effective deployment of the computing resources, in particular:
- Fortran77, Fortran90, C, C++ compilers
- the MPI library, standard for the development of parallel computing codes
- symbolic parallel debugger
- an optimized version of the BLAS library.
Look at the HPC User Guide for more information on programming environment tools available on each system.
On our supercomputing systems we also make available a large and etherogeneous library of Scientific Application Software for different disciplines.
